What does MenuBaby do?
MenuBaby is a web application that allows your customers to browse your restaurant menu, choose their items and order online so they get exactly what they want, without any miscommunication. Orders are sent to your restaurant by fax, email or e-printer, followed by an automated phone call to remind you that an order has arrived.
What doesn't MenuBaby do?
MenuBaby doesn’t handle any of your customers' money or credit card payments. Payment details are passed through to your restaurant so you process the payment at your own store in the normal way. You are in control of the payment process.
How do I install MenuBaby?
There’s no installation required! We host MenuBaby so you don’t have to worry about installing or upgrading any software. You only need a modern web browser such as Firefox or Safari and you’re ready to go.

Managing My Menu
How do I change item prices, add new items and menus?
Your menus, items, prices and options can be changed inside your MenuBaby account. It's straightforward and intuitive, but if you're having problems, you can always contact us for help!
Can people place online orders after our restaurant has closed?
No. The online ordering feature works within the business hours of your restaurant. You need to ensure that your business hours are specified correctly.
Can I have a menu with different ordering hours than my restaurant?
Yes. You can specify separate hours for your menu. You can also have different hours for takeout and delivery.
Do I need a computer or extra hardware to receive orders?
No other hardware is required to make the online ordering system work. All transactions made on your website will be transmitted securely and reliably to your fax, email or e-printer.
Do I need a separate line for my fax machine?
MenuBaby highly recommends that you have a separate line for your fax machine and phone. Sharing a line can cause problems, leading to a poor experience for your customers.
How many fax lines do we need to handle a busy evening rush?
One. Very few restaurants do the kind of volume that would require more than one fax line.

How safe is online ordering?
Online orders are encrypted to ensure security and privacy. Only your restaurant and the customer can see the order. We use the same encryption standards used by top brands in internet banking and retail.
